Dreadful Day Ever

It all started with a terrible case of morning hair. I couldn't figure it to look right. As I was dashing out the door, I trippedover and landed all over my new shoes. To make matters worse, I was totally late for a very important appointment.

By the time I reached my destination, I was completely drained. This day, this horrific day will be forever remembered as the worst day ever.

It all started out terribly with a simple mishap/incident/screw-up. But then it went from bad to absolutely terrible. A series/chain/cascade of unfortunate/awful/disastrous events unfolded/occurred/piled on top each other, leaving me feeling like I was in a nightmare/horror movie/comedy of errors. It's the kind of situation where you just want to run away and hide.
